ITI GLASS PROFILE

ITI Glass is a regional fabricator of quality glass products for commercial and architectural glazing applications. State-of-the-art equipment and more than 30 years experience establish the company among the top glass fabricators in the Midwest. The company is a member of PPG Industries' Certified Fabricator Program.

HISTORY

Founded in 1975, ITI Glass first began fabricating insulated glass units and heat-treated float glass for Wichita, Kan. area glazing contractors. The company landed a contract with, then Wichita-based Pizza Hut Corp., manufacturing insulated glass units and tempered glass for pre-fabricated Pizza Hut restaurants. Restaurants were assembled in Wichita and shipped throughout the nation.

With more than 30 years experience manufacturing insulated units and tempered float glass, ITI Glass has grown to provide a variety of products and services for commercial and architectural glazing applications. Today, the company serves the Midwest construction market with insulated and tempered glass, ceramic-frit spandrel coated glass, performance-coated low-e products, fabricated CNC glass and aluminum and door hardware for interior glazing systems.

The company operates shipping routes to customers in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Colorado and South Dakota.

GROWING COMPANY

In March 2006, ITI Glass broke ground on a 65,000-square-foot facility in Bel Aire, Kan., a suburb of Wichita. Completed in January 2007, the new facility enhances ITI Glass' production volume and capabilities.

Since the move, ITI Glass has enhanced its fabrication capabilities with equipment additions. Some of these additions include a new Glassrobots tempering furnace with oversize capability added in 2007, CNC edging and cutting equipment added in 2009. ITI Glass will also add a new glass insulating line in mid 2009.

A member of PPG Industries Certified Fabricator Program since 2007, ITI Glass is regularly trained and audited to ensure delivery of industry-leading glass products by PPG.

The CFP program is a worldwide network of glass fabricators that supply the construction industry with innovative PPG glass. With fast lead times — typically four weeks or better — ITI Glass delivers quality glass products with an ability to meet tight project schedules.
