Glass Entrances, Handrails & Shower Doors
Manufactured with quality metal and hardware products, and combined with expertly-fabricated glass, interior glazing packages are the ideal solution for many entrance, handrail and shower door applications.
Specifying glass for interior glazing systems, such as entrances, handrails and shower doors, creates unique spaces with high visual aesthetics. Depending on its application, interior glazing systems must meet specific building codes. Generally, glass used in interior glazing systems is tempered for safety.
With quality metal and hardware products available from several suppliers and a variety of heavy glasses in stock, ITI Glass sources the total package for entrances, handrails and shower doors. Trained customer service and professional shop-drawing capabilities give ITI Glass the resources to design code-compliant interior glazing systems for most applications.
Entrance, handrail and shower door packages are available pre-assembled or shipped in a loose assortment. Loose assortment packages can include stock-length metal.
Pre-Assembled Package
ITI Glass pre-assembles an entrance, handrail or shower door package with fabricated glass, metal and hardware products. The package is shipped to the customer, ready for on-site installation. Some final assembly is required. Package dimensions are determined by the customer's measurement of the opening in which the entrance, handrail or shower door is installed.
Loose Assortment
Customers order metal and hardware products, either cut to a specific size or stock length, with fabricated glass. Customers assemble the package and fabricate metal as necessary to fit the entrance, handrail or shower door application.
PPG Clarvista™ Low-Maintenance Shower Glass
Designed to resist corrosion that causes shower glass to lose its original luster, PPG Clarvista is the ideal product to keep shower door packages remaining in pristine condition.
Because glass is porous at the microscopic level, over time, uncoated glass exposed to common shower conditions like heat, moisture, minerals and chemicals can develop a cloudy or hazy appearance. Clarvista is sealed with one of the industry’s most durable pyrolytic coatings, resulting in a less-porous surface that acts as a barrier to resist corrosion and buildup. As a result, the product looks "like new," longer than uncoated shower glass.
Because of its durable coating permnantly fused to the glass surface, Clarvista’s low-maintenance benefits last longer than other shower glass products. Post-manufacturing spray- and wipe-on coatings require reapplication. Softer vacuum-deposited coatings break down over time. With proper cleaning and care, shower doors built with Clarvista will remain in pristine condition for years to come.
