Distributer of Kawneer products, ITI Glass stocks several options for storefront, curtain wall and aluminum door packages.

Two key considerations for selecting aluminum and glass products for exterior glazing systems are thermal performance and structural soundness. Depending on the height and span of an exterior glazing application, a storefront aluminum series many not provide enough structural support. Curtain wall aluminum is designed for structural glazing applications and achieves improved thermal performance values in larger applications, compared to storefront aluminum.

Kawneer storefronts, curtain walls and aluminum doors are proven, efficient products. ITI Glass is a distributer of Kawneer products and stocks many parts of the popular Trifab^® VersaGlaze storefront series and 1600 Wall System^® 1 curtain wall series.

Storefront Packages

Storefront framing accommodates a variety of design applications including entrance door frames, entrance sidelites, punched window openings and ribbon window mullions. ITI Glass’ storefront packages come with fabricated glass and can be pre-assembled or shipped with stock-length aluminum products.

Kawneer's versatile Trifab VersaGlaze (VG) Storefront framing series offers building designers a variety of glazing possibilities. VG 450 is available in 1-3/4-inch sight line, and both VG 451 and VG 451T (Thermal) have 2-inch sight lines. All three series (450, 451 and 451T) have frame depths of 4-1/2 inches and can be flush glazed from either the interior or exterior of the glazing application. The series is available in seven anodized finishes. Standard and custom-designed paint finishes and solvent-free powder coatings for “green” projects are also available.

Curtain Wall Packages

Curtain wall aluminum is designed for structural glazing applications. The product provides increased strength and improved thermal performance for large expanses of glazing. ITI Glass’ curtain wall packages come with fabricated glass and stock-length aluminum products.

ITI Glass stocks Kawneer's 1600 Wall System 1, a stick-fabricated, pressure-glazed curtain wall framing system for low- and mid-rise applications. The series is designed for independent use and can be integrated with Wall System 2, a silicone structural glazing system. Wall System 2 is available by special order.

1600 Wall System 1 and 2 are Cradle-to-Cradle^CM Silver certified for material content, recyclability and manufacturing characteristics. This can be used to earn points for LEED^® projects. For more information, visit www.c2ccertified.com.

Aluminum Door Packages

ITI Glass stocks several aluminum doors from Kawneer that can be combined with fabricated glass. For more specific designs, ITI Glass can supply custom doors with unique width and height dimensions, hardware and finishes. Some aluminum finishes are stocked, others are special order.
